This organisation was formed in 1989 with the objective of forming closer bonds between the School, the local community, parents, staff, Wykehamists and past visitors through the arrangement of special events, and by generally encouraging local residents to take part in School activities.
Here is the current newsletter and diary of events

- Above all, perhaps, a feeling of ‘belonging' to an ancient, beautiful and much admired institution
Events
If you are a registered user, you can now log in and book online for Friends events. Please allow two business days for your registration to be processed.
Lectures: four lectures are held in the two winter terms at Win Coll in Short Half and Common Time. Lecturers range from famous or infamous Old Wykehamists, to renowned speakers on a wide variety of subjects. Lectures are usually held in the historic surroundings of School, the 17th Century schoolroom of Winchester College, and are preceded by a glass of wine.
Outing: every two years the Friends organise an outing to a place of special interest. The two most recent trips have been to the National Memorial Arboretum, and to see what goes on behind the scenes at the Old Bailey.
Concert in Music School: this annual concert, as a thank-you for Friends support, has become a firm favourite with music lovers who appreciate the talent and skill of the School's young performers.
